Mary Fons, is delighted to be with Eric Drexler, who is a national educator, and all around pretty cool guy. Eric was encouraged to do some paper piecing for the flying geese quilt project in this video. He has worked with many other quilting projects, but never tried any paper piecing.
Paper piecing is a way a beginner quilter can get in there and do perfect points with no experience whatsoever. For years he wanted to try it, but his first foundation piecing exercise ended up with a lot of sticky fingers because they were using glue sticks and regular typing paper. So, it was a little tough with the tools that were used.
This video will discuss what tools are out there in the market that could make paper piecing easier for flying geese quilts.
