Quilt With The Stars | Episode 107, Part 1 | Kim Diehl

After winning a national challenge with her third quilt, Kim’s new-found hobby quickly blossomed into a full-time career. 1. Thank you for the great video with this uniquely talented lady! I fell in love with her designs and fabrics when I saw her Late Bloomer Quilt on the cover of a quilt magazine last year. I “had” to make a quilt like hers….it spoke to me! She even answered (or someone did) an e-mail giving me a link so I could purchase some fabrics like she had used. I can’t wait to get started on the Sprigs & Twigs quilt featured in March/April issue of Love of Quilting. Your magazine plus Kim Diehl equals = Inspiration!!!

  2. Once again, too much Mary and not enough from the guest. I would love to hear what Kim’s story was from her.

  3. I have 2 of Kim’s books and I have made one of the major appliqué quilts for my sister. When I look at her designs, I think ( and feel) this is my favourite quilt-type, which for me, being so attracted to many “quilt genres”,is a wonderful relief.(sigh) to realize I can happily focus in this area. Finally. Thank you, Kim. Congratulations on your success!
